Join us for a 6-week class series geared to the novice gardener. Learn from gardener Deb Nelson about organic vegetable gardening practices, basic gardening techniques, and the horticultural reasons behind them. Our goal is to give students the knowledge they need to be successful in growing their own vegetables. Each week, a new topic will be discussed that will build on the information from previous classes in the series. Topics include basics of growing plants organically - planning the garden, building beds, planting, tending - and finally harvesting your crop.
Classes are $25 each, or $125 for the whole 6-class series ($25 savings reserving the whole 6-class series). Limited Space Available. Registration for each class or the whole series is required. You can register via Paypal on our website or at Customer Service.

1st Class: Basic Botany/Horticulture – January 14, 2012
2nd Class: Planning & Design – January 21, 2012
3rd Class: Bed Preparations/Building Soil – January 28, 2012
4th Class: Plants (Hands-On) – February 4, 2012

6th Class: Harvest and Beyond – February 18, 2012
